Background Story and World View

Awakened from an ancient capsule by humanoid Anima seeking their prophesied savior, I embark on a journey to uncover my mysterious origins and the fate of the vanished human race. In this post-apocalyptic world, Animas are hunted by the predatory Kea race. We first take shelter amidst the ruins of a snowfield base, only to find it destroyed. Now refugees, we travel to new continents in search of humans. Our journey leads us to:

• The Lush Forest, where Keas imprison Animas as an energy source to fuel more Keas and hasten the elimination of the Anima race.

• The Huge Metropolis, where relics of human civilization hint at the roots of the Kea-Anima conflict during humanity's twilight.

• The Burning Desert, where Keas enslave rather than slaughter Animas, forcing them to cultivate strange plants near precious oases.

With each exploration, more truth emerges. In the land of Detis, I finally discover my true identity - I was an abandoned Kea myself. Despite this past, the Animas embrace me for our shared dream of peace. Our final stop is Maran, home of the last human vestiges, including the hidden lair of Tiamatt - the malevolent AI behind the world's chaos. Before confronting Tiamatt, we extend an olive branch to the Kea, binding our races against this common enemy. After a fierce battle, Tiamatt is defeated. Yet our victory seems hollow, trapped in an endless loop replaying the same events. We concoct a risky centuries-long slumber relying on the Kea, hoping to reawaken human once more. But a system anomaly alters the plan, triggering the awakening process early. So who am I really? What is my role in this strange new world? My true odyssey is just beginning...
